To strengthen Uganda–Canada collaboration in public health, Mobilize the Ugandan diaspora and Canadian partners, Promote cancer awareness and prevention and Support cancer related programs in Uganda and Canada.
The Uganda–Canada Cancer Run aims to:
• Promote Cancer Awareness among diaspora and Canadian communities.
• Strengthen Uganda–Canada Health Partnerships through collaboration with CCS, Rotary, and GAC YPN.
• Mobilize Funds for Cancer Causes in Uganda and Canada.
• Enhance Diaspora Engagement by involving Ugandan Canadian associations.
• Promote Public Diplomacy by showcasing Uganda’s commitment to global health.
The Canada–Uganda Cancer Run is a charity initiative that brings together individuals, families, communities, businesses, and partners in Canada and Uganda to raise awareness about cancer and mobilize resources to improve cancer care in Uganda. The event supports cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and the development of life- saving medical infrastructure
